Dr Paloma van Zyl is an Australian medical graduate with specialist training in Anaesthesia, critical care, pain management and Cosmetic Medicine. Graduating from Newcastle University in 2001 with honours, Dr van Zyl further attained specialist fellowship to ANZCA (the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists) in 2009. Her Anaesthetic practice includes Bariatric/ Spine/Neuro, and Endocrine surgery. Dr van Zyl has been practising and training in Cosmetic medicine since 2009 and works exclusively at Skin Renu, Balmain.
Flora in an aesthete with a passion for facial balance and harmony. Following three years of private practice in Sydney, Flora relocated to London where she completed her primaries at the Royal College of Surgeons. During this period, Flora worked in a private practice on Bond Street. After returning to Sydney, Flora established a successful practice in Balmain in 1994 where she specialized in Cosmetic and General Dentistry.
Her professional development has included further study in the areas of Orthodontics and Endodontics, while also maintaining a strong focus on her cosmetic dentistry Sydney based services.
A registered nurse since 1974, Sally has had a wide variety of nursing experiences, working in General Medicine, Midwifery, Intensive Care, including the Burns Unit, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Nurse Educator, Dermatology and Psychiatry. Sally worked overseas in the UK in Intensive Care and Midwifery and for MSF in Dhaka Bangladesh for the prevention of Cholera.
Sally began her career in Cosmetic Medicine working for Inamed Aesthetics as the Collagen trainer for Plastic Surgeons, Cosmetic Surgeons and Physicians, Dermatologists, General Practitioners and Registered nurses, throughout Australia, Sally’s training to doctors and nurses included basic and advanced techniques for cosmetic fillers, from theory to the practical, including the anatomy and physiology of the face for precise injecting. These skills, knowledge and experience are what makes Sally one of Sydney’s most sort after Cosmetic Injectors, and an expert at Lip Augmentation.
Combining her experience with the latest in anti-aging products and technology, Sally’s philosophy is to improve what you have as you age, not to change what you were given, resulting in a natural and refreshed look.

Jess specialises in advanced skin care treatments and CoolSculpting. Her fifteen years’ experience working as one of Sydney’s top Beauty Therapists and her qualifications in Dermal Science make her the ideal therapist in helping you overcome your skin’s concerns and guiding you to better skin health.
As CoolSculpting Team Leader Jess brings her hands on expertise and knowledge from three CoolSculpting University courses, including CoolSculpting Headquarters in California, to give you a CoolSculpting experience like no other.
Jess is fully trained, qualified and experienced in the use of all our laser, IPL, RF and CoolSculpting machines. Her versatility, depth of knowledge and meticulous care of detail make her the ideal therapist to recommend the very best treatment, combinations and products to help you achieve your goals or to accompany you on your rejuvenation journey.
Joely trained as a nurse in the state of Ohio, USA. She has specialised in Oncology, Haematology, Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgical Gynaecology. In 2009 she was nominated for the Cleveland Clinic’s Nursing Hall of Fame. We are very happy to have Joely and her exemplary level of care, compassion and commitment as the ThermiVa team leader at Skin Renu. She also works with injectibles and other skin rejuvenation procedures.

With a background in psychology and languages, Skin Renu Practice Manager Sylvia Down is all about communication and understanding. She has a strong belief in people feeling their best by looking their best and has an intimate knowledge of all our treatments and products.
Diana joined Skin Renu in 2009 and works on the Reception Desk. With 25 years experience in the Hospitality Industry, Diana has a passion for providing warm and friendly customer service. You will find her to be welcoming, approachable and no question is too small to ask, she is always happy to help.
Diana’s interests include travelling and trying the many restaurants in Sydney, however, her true love is performing on stage and for the camera. Diana has completed Acting courses at the Actors Centre in Surry Hills including an advanced course in American Theatre. She has appeared in minor roles for television and in TV commercials..
