What is a PDO Thread Lift?
A PDO Thread Lift is a revolutionary new treatment in the world of aesthetics, but the threads themselves have been used safely for decades in general surgery. Made from polydioxanone, hence the term PDO thread, the PDO thread is an absorbable polymer that dissolves with time stimulating the formation of collagen within your skin, renewing your skin at the cellular level, improving its texture and quality.

How long does it take?
It only takes 15 to 45 minutes plus numbing time depending on the area being treated
What happens before my treatment?
Before treatment begins, we will apply a topical numbing agent to the area of treatment. The needles used are very fine and the PDO thread is finer than a human hair.
What should I do to prepare for my treatment?
Avoid for 7-10 before treatment:
- Ginko
- Omega fish oil supplements
- Anti-inflammatory medication.
- Aspirin
- Chinese medicine
- Vitamin E
- Alcohol (2-3 days before)
These precautions help minimise the risk of bruising.

As a thread lift is so versatile, it can treat virtually any area of the face.
The PDO Thread Lift can be used to treat many different areas of the face:
